I don't see it as bad. To me, it just seems very not traditional Baraka and more Shark-esque (I wouldn't be surprised if that's what the costume or art design used as inspiration). Still, the movie does look good MK movie fun.

Late to the party, but Mortal Kombat 1 is really fun and the campaign is impressive. Love how NetherRealm Studios puts in so much effort into the cinematics and without neglecting the gameplay. The dialogue feels amateurish though. Wish game studios hired novelists who are known for good dialogue.

Really hope Powerhouse Animation Studios or Studio Trigger are the animation team behind the Bloodborne anime (more so PAS because of their fight choreography). Netflix's Castlevania and Cyberpunk were great and written as if it were targeting adults and not teens, tweens or even worse; everyone.
