YAMLx 0.2.0 is out. It fixes a few minor issues (locations including trailing whitespace, document separator being printed weird, comment extraction and attachment)
YAMLx is a complete, pure-OCaml YAML library with a user interface designed by me.

Does your ChatGPT also insert foreign words on occasion?
Note that I don't speak or read any Arabic. I use English and French regularly.
I don't miss being insulted by idiots who don't try to understand what we say and assume the worst in others.
We have one kid and she's 19. She's the least complicated character in this family.
If you're pondering whether you should have kids, the answer is probably yes. We're wired to raise kids. Some people like kids more than others but overall, I think it's easier than the average guy would expect. Also, they're your kids; they're much more interesting than other people's kids.

I just added this to my YAMLx project:
"This is AI-assisted software, fully owned and maintained by Martin Jambon."
If authorship is nebulous and the license or legal framework offers no guarantees, consider not using that software. (I'm not sure it's really a new problem, it's just more sensitive during this transitional period)
In all seriousness, I'm convinced the issue is not how it was made but who's responsible i.e. who has something to lose when things go wrong.
Without machines, please. I will write my programs with a stick in the sand.

Hmm, maybe we should use bits for this. 100K -> 16.6 bits; 200K -> 17.6 bits; 17 bits -> 131K; 18 bits -> 262K; 19 bits -> 524K; 20 bits -> 1049K
It's not good for thinking, it's good for summarizing what a bunch of people already know.
ATD now supports YAML! The key was to propagate source locations to produce useful error messages.

This was one task. Proper vibe coding would have stopped after the first commit. Here, we made 15 revisions.

Salut, moi c'est Martin et j'ai 581 mois.
La coupe du monde 2030 est dans 50 mois. C'est fou quand même quand on y pense.
Well, the syntax is not weird for variants, only for record fields e.g. x.Foo.error to access x of type Foo.bar.
I use it all the time in OCaml. The alternative is to qualify the constructor with the module name but it's imprecise, less informative to the reader, and it's a weird syntax.
