I turned the Lego Game Boy into a working Game Boy part. 1 Through my documentation of Game Boy boards, I have drawn up schematics of each device. I know them pretty well. Check out my board scan wiki https://wiki.nataliethenerd.com/ I jokingly made this…

This is incredibly cool.

Exploring the Web with Cloudhiker Discover the internet and find the most interesting, weird or awesome websites.

Agreed, though the fun web is still out there, it’s just nearly impossible to find via any of the sources we’re used to using. A friend shot this to me the other day and it was like a breath of fresh air: cloudhiker.net

I can still smell our old spray mount room. Pretty sure it’s nerve damage… the exhaust fan did NOTHING. 😅

I want something that feels like an iPhone 5 but with modern specs. It’s a pipe dream, but a dream none the less.

It keeps the players in check. They know if they do too well, they may be run over by an entire Gatorade delivery truck.

I don’t! I’ve been front-end my entire career and only just recently started doing anything back-end. If you have some good recommendations for resources, I’m all ears!

The constraints are scope vs hours in a day. Mostly, I’m cracking wise. I’ll get there, I’m just at that point where I’m realizing the true scale of what I’ve set out to do and it’s a bit daunting.

And yes, Laravel is absolutely capable of handling all of it. lol

What flavor of dark mode do you prefer? My eyes freak out with most versions unless they’re low contrast.

We somehow managed to almost completely dodge cocomelon. I think the algorithm popped it up one day when we were looking for kids Christmas carols (?) but otherwise we avoided it. (Famous last words...)

Tell someone that is so miserable in their job that their physical health is visibly degrading that it’s “just a contentment issue” and they need to “change their mindset”.

That’s awesome! What sort of things have you built for them? I’ve been toying with some ideas for my daughter as well. The progress I’ve made on the book scanner is encouraging enough that I’ll probably give those ideas a go.

Anything to do with animation beyond the basic “transition [property] [duration] [easing]”.

As of Chrome 131 you have more options to style `<details>` and `<summary>`.

You can now use of the `display` property on these elements, and also use a `::details-content` pseudo-element to style the part that expands and collapses.

I’m a Frontend web developer in the DFW area. These days I’ve been exploring Laravel and enjoying it quite a bit.
