This Is Just To Say

I have turned off
the AI features
that were in
the update

and which
you were probably
hoping
to monetize

Fuck you

so unnecessary
and so annoying

Given the Tim Cook news, I feel obligated to re-up Slate’s iconic “is Tim Cook swole?” Investigation

The only thing that would make this more Korean is if BTS or the Kpop demon hunters soundtrack were somehow involved.

AG1 is a lot less science-y than it sounds “Clinically backed” isn’t the endorsement you think it is.

Peloton, stay in your lane It’s okay to stick to fitness.

This week on Optimizer, I finally manage to talk about Heated Rivalry… in the context of a horny Peloton ad and the company’s attempt to pivot as a wellness brand.

You see “stacking” in the gray market peptide lingo too and I don’t know man, your body is not an unsupervised experimental chemistry lab. As someone going through a ton of side effects from a supervised medical treatment plan, this is hurting my brain.

🫠 BDO is an industrial solvent that metabolizes into the date rape drug… DXM is a cough suppressant… pregabalin is an anti-convulsant that enhances highs…

Can we go back to Flintstones multivitamins instead of stacking drugs and pretending it’s the same as supplements…

For the like 5 minutes where I was feeling good tho, it felt good to be back.

The rest was pain and suffering.

Decided to try my first walk-run since my new medications’ side effects made most high intensity cardio impossible.

Lol. I nearly yakked halfway through 🥲 I will persevere and find a way back but this is most humbling.

Every peptide I see influencers peddling sounds like a Star Wars robot.

Lemme source these dubious bottles and inject some C-3PO with my BB-8 and R2D2 to create a Droid stack.

My baby deer plushie told me that Mitski’s dad was a CIA operative D’oh, a deer, an AI deer.

Me and my deer friend, we are doing better.

Aka I continue testing AI robot companions. This one involves an AI Burt Reynolds, extensive fantasy lore, and my cat going on a murderous rampage.

Why your Whoop might tell you to up your testosterone Whoop hasn’t changed so much as health tech at large.

I should try that next time. I do tell them not to bother with my right arm. (This was the spigot arm). No phlebotomist or nurse has ever successfully drawn blood from it and I’m tired of feeling like a pincushion.

This is where my phobia came from! I needed an IV as a teen and the med student botched insertion so bad it left me with giant bruising for two weeks. I also have tiny veins so they collapse easily and require so many pokes. Once my blood just SHOT OUT from my arm like a spigot. We all screamed.

The peptide thing sends me daily. Medical treatments — I’m a big girl and can put my big girl pants on. ELECTIVE SUBSTANCES WITH DUBIOUS SCIENCE?

For what, Chad? I saw a shirtless (why do they hate shirts?) dude proudly inject FOX-40 — a “cell death peptide” with no human trials for funsies. 💀

I’m still a wuss at blood draws tho

Ironically, once I got more used to the auto injector needles for meds I was also able to take up cross stitch and embroidery lololololololol. The image of needles never triggered fear, but seeing them in person did.
