I was so confused by Bri talking about the episode of dexter as narrated by a child that it wasn’t until after all the moral Orel talk that I realised she meant Dexter’s lab and not Dexter the show about the serial killer. I think they should put her on the radio.

Besides Titus, Kurosawa’s Ran (based on King Lear) and Throne of Blood (MacBeth) are maybe my favourite adaptations of Shakespeare. Throne of Blood especially for the completely deranged way that ending was shot.

Have you seen any good live Shakespeare performances? I once saw an excellent Richard III that was played almost as a comedy with pratfalls and deliberate overacting right up to Bosworth Field at which point it turned deathly serious. It was fantastic.
