this does raise a really confusing question: how and why did I get taught about the idea of god without anyone teaching me of the idea of heaven. they basically told me “yeah there’s an all knowing god” without clarifying that he does something about death. which in retrospect is funny as hell

when I was like 5 I had intense anxiety about the idea of death and that I could die and not be living anymore and not exist forever. I would try praying to god every night asking if he could make me reincarnate at 3 years old or so but maintain my memories when I die so I could go again
