and you can never really predict how much damage there will be when it's over. the last one that had a direct impact on my town wasn't projected to hit it at all. we managed to escape it because it happened the day we left for seoul but my dad and brother were left at home without power for 2 days 😭

the 12 hours right before a typhoon are always the worst. the weather's completely still and fine (hot, even) and then BAM the wind comes out of nowhere and knocks down the trees in front of your house

i got one removed last year and those first 3 weeks suuucked so i told myself i wouldnt get any more taken out for a long time but then the second one decided to give me hell a few weeks ago so i had no choice 😩 i cant wait to go back to actual human food
