The energy in that other place really is wild.

Anyway, I had a dream that was semi about work and. . . Again, thank God for this 3 day weekend.

America is finally about to get what it deserves based on who it is and not who it thinks it is. . .And that should honestly be terrifying.

I am a firm believe that I NEVER want to *get what I deserve*. It's not that I'm a terrible person. I just don't want anything based on the sum of *everything* I do. Give me better than what I deserve.

Had I not witnessed it, if someone had told me they'd never read or heard about the story before they watched the short, I'd have believed them.

They let it audible gasps when the exact scene in the story played out on the screen. They did not recognize the biggest difference between the written word, original short, and an updated version.

This week the kids read a short story in English. They did the prework on M/Tu. They read and annotated on Wed. They discussed and did post work on Th. And they watched 2 versions of it on Friday.

And they had no idea what the central theme was. Despite having been told and shown.
