Pretty rotten conditions this weekend. At least you got some joy on 20! That’s also where I was working a little South America and CONUS

There better be a CW clue or someone from the front desk is coming in to save me lol

Holy crap you actually found a use outside of talking to OM’s! I have also heard of CW playing in escape rooms to give hints

the best dinosaur is clearly Iguanodon, because of all the dinosaurs it most resembled a middle-aged Sicilian-American dock-worker with a switchblade

It’s resonant on 40m and can be tuned for a section of 80m, I’ll get it dialed in for CW portion 😎

It’s this design but a bit less sideways when you see it in person

That is pretty sweet, RBN does that for CW as well. I will be putting up a 40m/80m vertical dipole soon and plan to compare reach vs my dipole with WSPR

Getting sorta back into FT8, the DX is just too good but more importantly (and sadly) that’s where the stations are. This morning I got Cambodia on 20m with it.

Worked Spain (special Titanic memorial event), Sweden and Russia tonight CW, the former two on 40m! Big DX for a low dipole.

FT8 had an excellent opening into Georgia and Ukraine on 20m as well.

West Coast USA gets brief windows to work these parts of the world vs East Coast.

Recent late night long distance Morse code had replies from England, Estonia, Hungary, Japan, Ecuador and Russia. It’s even more fun to hear from the same people. Tonight I talked to a low power (5W) op in Chile. Digital modes made contacts from central and S. Africa. Conditions have been good!

Haven’t done POTA in a little while due to illness and contesting, felt great to be back at John Muir national historic site today.

Nice pileups and rate on 20m then good DX into New Zealand and Japan!

Screenshot of Joker and Batman from the Adam West Batman series surfing. Joker says "Cowabunga, Bat-Drip! As surfers go, it looks like you're all wet! Ahahaha!", to which Batman replies "Shut the fuck up! Fuck you!"

CQ WPX is a lot of fun, but CW still beats phone by a long shot if only for never hearing some say “please copy…”

That phrase has even infected RTTY!

A bit of SSB fun for a change, the Q’s under my own call to round out DXCC phone, around family biz and a shift with the multi-multi at NR60
