Makes the most sense to me if SE wanted to avoid releasing another ascian ult right after FRU due to Mitron being the main focus of it. Especially with his absence from TOP being a topic back then.

I was talking with a friend about this, but I was always skeptical for the next patch being a SHB mqs one or just an outright ascian one, because FRU was already based on an ascian. Makes sense to do something different and Kefka can absolutely carry an ultimate.

Shinji is in a weird spot that despite being a massive asshole that deserved his fate in certain Fate routes, there's a certain level of pity with him since its obvious Zouken groomed him to be like this. Doesn't make him a tragic character by any means, but it does add layers to him.
