Makes sense. I've never heard of Passkeys Managers. That would definitely solve it.
As usual I'm sure the tech is good, but the implementation/adoption sucks for now!
cause it's linked to a physical device. If you loose it or want to connect from your phone you can't...

Why are we pushing passkeys? It sucks

Good morning.
Just a reminder that Workday, the worst app ever created in human history, has a $70B market cap.
We can make it! See ya
Hi Bluesky.
I have updated my Terms & Conditions. Thanks.

Everything normal on simplebar repo
Got it, yeah that works for me! I'm used to GitHub squash&merge (keeps commits history in merge commit text) because I'm lazy but this seems like a nice workflow too.
Did you know? The "staff" in staff engineer actually comes from the wooden stick staff. Just like Gandalf, the staff engineer is a mythical being wielding his staff to make bugs disappear 🧙
That looks cool I didn't know about it.
My main concern is with rewriting git history operations. I feel like it usually causes more issues than it solves. Git history is valuable information and if it was me you shouldn't be able to rewrite it ever!

what's the project?
So is React `useEffectEvent` ever gonna be released? When?
When matsuoka-601 dropped his WebGPU fluid simulation demos, they left everyone in awe—pushing the limits of what's possible in the browser with breathtaking realism and incredible performance. 💦

I don't need a full screen dialog for an action confirmation.

The trick is to split tasks: 1 task per prompt. Then you can optimise and merge them later if you need better perf.
It's really hard to design LLM prompts and function calls that do multiple things at the same time. The more tasks you as the LLM to do, the more difficult.
I'm sketching out what cooperative carbon emissions mechanism might look like, via a new "Cambridge Green Blue" league. Interested in participating? This is either a dumb or a great idea, and I can't tell which it is yet without the feedback of you, the good reader. anil.recoil.org/notes/cambri...

"AI can replace a mid-level software engineer"
Seems like a good time to confirm my guidance that no LLM can replace a competent software engineer yet. No, not even O1 or R1.
I have been using LLMs in my professional work for almost 2 years now, both to write code and using them as part of the product I work on. They're helpful, but unreliable.
People really did not understand what the DeepSeek news was about
Whoever makes RAG as a service with support for those will be a winner:
- visually rich documents (PDFs, etc. with ex ColPali)
- fast or live embedding (so I'm able to send a 200 pages PDF and start retrieval within 60 secs)
- no indexing (I can send a document and start retrieval directly)
apparently it is compared to the ViDoRe benchmark which was created by the ColPali team github.com/illuin-tech/...
