I think it may depend, it could be my imagination🏕️🐿️, but sometimes I 😉 can small walnut trees better than I can see👁️ them ?
he meant, "smell" (walnut trees) ... of something pungent (like iodine) in the breeze from ripening green walnuts 🍏crashing through branches by the noisey late summer bombardier rodents flying through the trees
I don't think I have ever sensed a smell, probably because my salads are generally covered in balsamic vinegars with herbs. I am glad that I have discovered a new word 'juglone', and that it holds such a great promise for humanity.
I share your doubt Steve! I'd love to be just a nominee for a Nobel prize but as I have done no biological research since studying the brain of a pig in biological psychology at University, I don't think anyone would nominate me. It is fascinating though. I love walnuts on salads but
Although I doubt you will get a Nobel Prize for discovering an inhibitor of inhibitor of Pin1 (peptidyl-prolyl cis/trans isomerase) that could regulate phosphorylation of Tau, implicating potential effects of juglone in Alzheimer’s disease...

How tragic that you could publish, then re-publish, then re-publish, then re-publish, then re-publish a cartoon like this over and over again...
Apparently, it is a natural occurrence - perhaps the iodine is similar to the smell of pine? I don't know.
I didn't know that was possible, so I Googled it. Apparently, the black walnut tree produces an 'earthy aroma - often described as citrus, pine, spice, and somewhat bitter or resinous notes' that comes from the leaves, stem, husks - a chemical called 'juglone'.
Some want to destroy entire civilizations.
Some want to repair what's been destroyed.
After a Russian drone bombed Vlad's building in Hievakha, Ukraine, he managed to get out alive and even save his dog.
Later, his charred guitar was found.

Sounds incredible Smaksked! The changed wooden receptor is said to have remained stable after 150 days. For solar, and to be affordable, wouldn't stability over a much longer period of time be required? I note that the heat transfers to a generator, so would it be like a replaceable battery?
Engineered wood converts sunlight into heat, supplies solar power even in darkness

Got it!
Ok!
So it was only the smell of sage, not that other medicinal herb which was once deemed illegal but now useful to people who are really ill. The smell of sage is similar.
You're welcome George! Looking forward to more photos of your wildlife adventures, especially relating to the migration of the wildebeest, zebra and others.

So that you know... A brief encapsulation of the rights of Sovereign nations with coastal borders.
I have to say Steve, I feel like I am missing a beat. Was the original gift the smudge or that other medicinal weed?
A total pleasure, Hope. May your week be excellent.
You're welcome, Layla!
