When AI Came
First it came for the Writers
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Writer
Then it came for the Artists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Artist
Then, it came for me;
- And there was no one left
* To speak out
* For me

I know just above zero about gunpla, but, and I must say this very neatly...
That second colour scheme (Lilac/White/Gold) absolutely owns bones, and needs to be on non-EC 40k army asap.
Wild for anyone to have watched so much and NOT seen this coming.
That said, I wish we got the Eloise season first; We had a lot of Francesca this season, but understand they need the payoff to the buildup.
(There's probably an anticpatory angle too - They know people want the Eloise story!)
Provoked by very tedious attempts to supplant actual writers with the usual this week:
“If you think AI slop is good writing, that says more about your reading comprehension than its writing ability.”
My video games rotten brain knows, definitively, there's a secret area available if I climb up onto the bottom right pipe, run along it, and jump to that partially visible hole in the wall.
I know it's a take as old as time, but that there's no 40K competitor to Planetside 2 is just... absolutely mindblowing.
The format is exactly right for 40K. The models are already digital formats, and work flawlessly in Space Marine 2. And there's no modern competitor.
Why doesn't this exist?
But critically, still leaving the door open for things like... 'supported by AI drafting' and 'Crafted by humans with generative concepts', or 'with background assets procedurally generated' and other euphemisms for 'lol we used the plagarism machine to make it more profitable'
Precisely the same story happening (with AI leverage!) in Security - Why hire or retain expertise when you can just GPT the problem!
So the carpenters are learning on the job, by having the manuals read to them by people who want the houses to fall down.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, here revealed as Cyberdyne Systems Nonce-800, presumably was just trying to check Sarah Connor wasn't on the island.
@ironspike.bsky.social I can't reply sadly, but I see your 'Playing House' C&H, and raise you this absolute diamond of short-form, minimalist storytelling.
Like they don't know Rule 34 causes this.

Oh my days yes....
And yes - I saw the Story about providing a volume to international distribution, who will do that Distribution always do in a scarcity environment, and mark it up 300%.
@evilhat.bsky.social I'm sure I won't be the only one to say this, but.... *Sobs in Australian*
How do we possibly have a quite good Fallout TV show, and it's NOT timed to release with a Fallout game? Surely, surely that would have been a smart thing to do.
I mean, it's also been 16 years since New Vegas, and nothing else in the franchise came even close, so maybe we are ruled by idiots.
I’m confused - I recognise objectively Fight Club is not a story to aspire to, and it’s really about toxic masculinity.
But also I really want to watch the corporate buildings collapse whilst the Pixies play ‘Where Is My Mind’ in the background.
"We Created A God, And All It Did Was Start Hallucinating A Pantheon."
Though I can't decide if that's better as a story conceit, or the title of a second more experimental album.

Fantastic news for Joss Whedon dialogue fans!
Terrible news for *checks clipboard* literally everyone else!
LMAO and you thought you were out of reasons to think Kotick was a shitheel.
I've been reminding myself of this so much recently.
Thanks again @davidmccormack55.bsky.social!
Biscuits! It’s only world’s greatest Dad Bandit!
(Literally just walked up to him, said you’re the spit of Dave McCormack, he said ‘yeah cos I am’) 😂
What video game do you consider perfect?
"Yes, I know he's the same. We've got 3 people playing Rogue, a Fighter in Aragorn, a Wizard, Dwarf and an Elf. No, natural 1 on the save for that stupid ring wasn't my fault - No, I hear you, I know we don't have a Cleric!"
Boromir's player to the GM when introducing his new character, Faramir.
I'll take it, solid result.

"Through Flanders, Portugal and Greenland" doesn't quite have the same ring to it.
1. KOTOR
2. Half-Life 2
3. Breath of the Wild
4. Fallout: New Vegas
5. Disco Elysium
Those five rewrote the rules for their respective genres. In raw quality, BG3 sneaks in right after.
It's wild to me to put Clair Obscur, which is no doubt a very good game, even on the same list.
Genuinely brilliant.
I love Drumeo, I truly do - But I find some of them very far fetched, too. Like, expecting anyone in music to have *never* heard some of the songs they use? e.g. Dirk Verbeuren has never heard Mr Brightside? Ever?
I mean, I'm still willing to enjoy my disbelief, it's a great concept still!
John - it’s almost adorable to think that might be bad enough to flag any more. You’ve got weirdos searching for ‘how to overthrow another government’ and ‘how close to concentration camp can my camp be?’ over there.
You’re all good, just… not for good reasons.
