I took some time this afternoon to check out the aboriginal Lumé exhibit at the art museum. This quote describes so much of what I feel about art. But more importantly art that has roots in functional craft. Beautiful hand made things you live your life with and share with those you love. ❤️

I read this amazing feminist retelling of Majnun & Layla: Songs From Beyond The Grave by Yann Damezinn in one of the most beautiful graphic novels I've read in a minute. I took some liberties and redrew one of the pieces in the book on an ATC. Regeneration.
