Apparently based on Chinese announcement that Zhongxing 9C is due to be launched in the first quarter of this year, and guessing it was the payload of the next Chang Zheng 3B.

There was a pre-launch rumour on the NSF forum that Zhongxing 9C was the payload. It's apparently due to be launched sometime soon.

Looks like they are starting to eject them, possibly indicating that they only appear on deployment of the big antenna.

Do you know for sure that BlueBird jettisoned the adapters this time? Possible that there was a design change from the earlier launch.
