It's very good. If you're into using all of your brain power and lots of reading, this game is perfect for you, and even if you aren't It's a really good story that I think everyone deserves to experience. I definitely recommend you try it when you are able to.

- but it looks like pure passion only gets you so far.

Maybe I'll come back to this project in the future, who knows, but for the time being I'm not confident that I'll find the motivation again.

- I don't think i'll be working on this again. The reason why is because I've simply lost the passion. the last I touched the file was back in february, which is almost an entire year now.

Back when I was working on it I thought this was going to send me to the moon for sure -

Last notes:

This project was mostly a learning experience for me, and I definitely learned a lot, especially on how to animate and draw more efficiently.

I wasted a lot of time doing unnecessary things while working on this, for sure.

Anyways, I posted all this here because -

This was supposed to be the cover page for Act 3, which is the final act. (I drew covers for the 3 storyboard books)

called "Preludio al furioso", which is obviously supposed to be the act in which Roland prepares to overwhelm Argalia with all his steel-cold silent rage.

I guess I used the paint cleanly? I also had a sketch I drew a week prior to go off of so that helped lol

When I was first trying to conceptualize how I would animate this fight, I drew my initial drafts on paper in comic book style. I made 3 pamphlets/books in total seperated into Acts. (much like a story structure)

in the storyboard draft it's unintelligible because the camera follows their hand movements and doesn't show their entire bodies.

I first began planning/working on this project in June 2024.
I drew paper storyboards as my first draft and in July 14th I made this short animation on Ibis paint ↓
