I hear there's a Canadian biopic coming out called BRUCE about a department store Santa.

other than that, I can't remember a thing about it
I wound up at a Ron Sexsmith show wondering who the silver haired angel with Michael Mckean was. Well....
I forgot Little Jerry's, an excellent hi fi bar in Toronto. Also visit Kensington Market (lotsa vintage, Courage My Love is historic) and it's heavily featured in 2 of the best recent movies out of Canada: Endless Cookie and Paying For It.
aw thanks, drop me a line too if you have specifics. Oh, and I should mention Type Books (they carry my book too) and Glad Day and The Monkey's Paw (very esoteric) are great bookstores.
It's called obsession heehee
Thanks Alex! Oh, for comedy I recommend Laugh Sabbath which Nathan Fielder came out of. There's great baphotos? (Slash Need etc). Are you looking for people to take photos of or people to take the photis?
Also for rotis, Alis on Queen is amazing, order their doubles (chickpea patties). Mother India does a different style of roti. For video stores go to Eyesore Cinema. Also the Revue Cinema has a happening scene. Vinegar Syndrome across the street.
Moo Shu ice cream in Ottawa is great. Toronto: King Slice is uniquely Toronto pizza and a great immigration story, make sure they brush the oil all over your Slice as that's what makes it unique! Go to Little Tibet and get mo mos, Logas Corner has a great sauce to go with it.
It's weird to not see it be Old Dutch but whether brand loyalty or not there's still a dress code: full tuxedo.

I watched this recently too, it's a real wild one!
Wow, I had no idea about that story.
Now that you can see big Hollywood stars doing more and more commercials for shoddy products, there's less need than ever to see a big Hollywood movie.
I mean, the USA did elect evil mutants

It will, at the very least, feel longer. It will deaden you.
Former Prime Minister Stephen Harper is in the Epstein files and it is incumbent on Canadians to demand an investigation into Canadians that did ‘business’ with Epstein. It is awful, it is uncomfortable, and it requires our courage to root out corruption.

Scary Movie 6 should be subtitled "REEEEEACH"
There was an episode of the 80s Twilight Zone which always stuck with me about these worried parents of a young boy who loved learning and was required to take the government education test. In the end, the boy was too smart for the test so the government killed him.
Hello! I directed this music video for my dear friend @chaki.bsky.social's song The Contract to Dance. It features the great @littlepuck.bsky.social and @milliemorgan.bsky.social. I am so proud of how it turned out, and I really hope you'll watch it!
So was their rationale, "We have to bomb the school and kill 175 children and teachers because education is a threat to the U.S. government"?
Happy Threads day!
Xaviera's Toronto period is so fascinating, besides that awful Waxman movie she also did a spoken word album that Ronnie Hawkins appeared on.
