I don’t care what we’re talking about; the goal should be zero dead children.

850 Tomahawk missiles could be $3,060,000,000... That is 3 billion sixty million US dollars.

That is 1224 5 year biomedical research grants. Literally, over 6 millennia of biomedical research.

I typically like good reviewer feedback and sometimes can tell that my writing needs to be more clear.

However, it is REALLY FRUSTRATING when it seems the reviewer only half read the paper and the comments are wrong or asking for things that are already in the paper.

Measles outbreaks are costing the U.S. millions of dollars. The true losses can't be counted. As vaccination rates decline, the economic consequences will increase, research suggests.

Maybe the slogan "Measles will make us lose money" is what would finally break through in a society suffering from end stage capitalism.🤷🏽‍♀️
1.5 billion dollars cost annually for every percentage drop in vaccination coverage just might be what does it.

Why do I have to pretend that I'm going to print something in order to save it as a PDF. Why do I have to engage in a little ruse.

I was an opportunity scholar at #positconf in 2023, and I hope that this encourages you to apply, just like someone encouraged me to apply.

It was a life-changing chance to do something I never dreamed I could do! What have you got to lose?

Ohio Bans Grace Periods for Mail Ballots, Fulfilling Trump’s Wishes Ohio is the fourth GOP-run state this year to ban ballots that are postmarked by Election Day but arrive after. A Supreme Court case could force that policy nationwide next year.

Mail ballots currently lean overwhelmingly Democratic and the party is likely to be disproportionately affected if thousands of votes are tossed out because of bans on grace periods for mail ballots in Ohio and elsewhere.

"Homicide, suicide, and drug overdose accounted for more than one fourth of maternal deaths (2018 of the total of 7901) from 2018 through 2023; deaths from these causes nearly equaled the combined toll of cardiovascular disease, infection, hypertension, and hemorrhage."

Just cloned Stand With Minnesota for another state.

I am so excited someone finally took me up on the offer. I even made them a little logo and redid the site in their colors.

Yeah, hi, I’m a person with “mobility challenges” (excuse me while I hurl). What we want, by and large, are not expensive, heavy devices that will “help us walk again”, but ramps.

I know, it’s not sexy, as technology invented before Christ, but it is overlooked in favor of…this. Repeatedly.
