Maybe I’m projecting but during the 2D3Y I can’t imagine the anxiety of the rest of the crew may have felt bc for each person the Only one of them other than themselves who was confirmed as still alive was luffy.. did any of them wonder if not everyone made it?

And then the rest of the strawhats until Robin.. did they believe the others may have made it out together? That maybe just maybe luffy and a handful of them managed to escape back to the sunny or was there just a gut knowledge that they were in over their heads.

sometimes I think about how Zoro was the first one to get bamphed by kuma and until he got the news from mihawk, he probably thought he was the only one separated from the others. the haunting unknown of did they survive, are they still together? as he’s barely able to move and alone and so far away
