It is by far the least I (and other veterans of conscience) can, and should do.

If you are a veteran, I encourage you to look into groups like Veterans for Peace or other support and peace advocacy groups.

Even at a time of a very different regime, I was a tool of a harmful institution. That's part of why I so strongly warn people and give them very frank information and educate on the negatives, the cons, the downsides that people like this Vtuber downplay or even omit altogether.

I myself have been left with significant pain and back issues, spinal damage, chronic sleep deprivation. And I was someone fortunate enough to even get educational benefits and sufficient healthcare afterwards. And with that, I don't deserve sympathy for it - it was a mistake.

Platitudes about this - vague messages of concern about it or generic disagreement - isn't enough. It's often all many vtubers do in any controversy that arises.

But I lose respect for them every time.

Name the issue. Say it. Use your whole chest if you believe something.

There are other vtubers, right now, mourning the loss of loved ones through the ongoing, deeply unpopular, unjustified behavior of the people being used to bring them harm.

To be actively recruiting, at this moment in history, is - at *best* - tone deaf in the extreme.

Bottom line:

It is ethically indefensible.
