We will be celebrating the release of MY IMPOSSIBLE SOUL: THE METAMODERN MUSIC OF SUFJAN STEVENS on Zoom on FRIDAY, MARCH 6 at 11am Pacific time.
Message me for Zoom deets.
There’s a symbol currently going around in Minnesota called the Rebel Loon. It’s a symbol of rebellion against ICE, and the current tyranny of this nation. Im not from Minnesota, I’m from New York. So I decided to draw a symbol based of the Rebel Loon to show my support using my state’s bird.
Your work is magic! You deserve to be proud :)
We really will sell capitalism in a blue shirt as an antidote for capitalism in an orange shirt won't we
I'm very intrigued!
One of the more satisfying sessions to walk out from!
But this depiction of festive carousing and romance is a form of escapism D&D tables partake in so, so frequently - no matter how big the monster manual is.
My big thing is: slice of life romance occurs in D&D so frequently that to claim it's not what D&D "does" is silly. Yes, D&D pays lots of consideration towards turn based combat. But a system also is what it does. Sure, D&D is not a cyberpunk horror game, even if some tables stretch it to be. 1/2
Phone notification: "Serious Disness has a new episode"
I received a VERY exciting notification today - thanks @demontomatodave.bsky.social !
I mean, the whole point of this site was not just "Twitter alternative" but "Twitter alternative where you have ownership over your account & its content, and can move your data to other clients / servers instead of starting fresh every time you want to leave a website"
I think it's good to keep getting mad about evil and unjust things, if only to remind yourself and everyone else that these things are in fact evil and unjust. I don't think it's naive. Nor is it wise and sophisticated to adopt a "You fool, nothing matters and nothing good can ever happen" posture
Rats in the Walls, the forged in the dark game about rodent adventures in a haunted, clockwork manor, has a new logo sketch and went through four playtest oneshots recently that all went super well!
#forgedinthedark
This is a cool series and I have a tiny contribution in one of them!
Goddamn. @agoldman.bsky.social's reporting on the complex and dramatic history of the cat drug black market - the Facebook-based amateur veterinarian ring helping cats afflicted with a specific feline illness - was unbelievable. Kudos on the amazing series. Everyone should listen to this.
And if you want to support an independent show—why not @hyperfixedpod.bsky.social? Hyperfixedpod.com/join
These are beyond incredible!
Rats in the Walls, the roleplaying game of rodent stealth and survival in the walls of a Victorian manor #forgedinthedark, just had its fourth playtest in one week, and it's holding up really well! Excited to keep cracking away at it and show more of it to people
My guess is a change in DM + a change in system would have been too risky a change in formula for a main campaign
Shakespeare in the Park ❤️
I love this, brings me back to the days of Pokemon on the DS 🥰

Look you just have to make the cool weird shit that excites you. You must. In this world besieged by bland, scrubbed boring, computer slop, you must. Make the thing you’re embarrassed to make, the thing that feels “too much” because otherwise we get drowned in a sea of cowardly work made by a button
It’s Tove Jansson Day in Finland today and 110 years since she was born. Here’s a drawing I did back in 2015.
Yes, but in fairness, a lot of those readers were children
And the readers were of a different age. I don't blame middle schoolers from the 2000s for not recognizing transmisogyny, etc.
I started watching some episodes for the first time as a result of this thread. Thank you!
I'm blown away by the support. Thank you everyone who has shared this and/or bought the bundle.. We are getting closer but still have a bit to go.
