I love how absolute the trust is when I ask someone to "watch my stuff". Like I truly and implicitly believe this random stranger would die for my backpack that has nothing but headphones and a granola bar
What's this???? Save the Castle is on top of "New and Trending" for VR?? Get the full game today!

Hey! I woke up this morning to 100 followers! Neat :)
Please, PLEASE games industry, can we PLEASE decide if the subtitle toggle lives in "gameplay" or "audio"??!!!??!!!
Python will always be the fastest language for me. Not in terms of code speed, but in terms of me-writing-code speed. For something small and snack-y like AoC, getting things built quickly is much more important than it running fast. For the size of inputs in this project it's good enough π
Anytime my code uses "is item X in collection Y" my brain screams that Y needs to either be a set or a dict depending on if I need other data too
I've completed "Print Queue" - Day 5 - Advent of Code 2024
First time my code has chugged to run! If it hadn't gotten the correct answer first try I may have optimized the algorithm but eh. It worked. I *did* discover colored python text :)

I also used intersections! Sets have really good performance for this problem
Yay!!! Thanks <3 I'm glad I added a custom domain it looks a lot better
Am I cool ππ
P1 was only over-engineered cause I'm dumb and took wayyyy too long to get a functional word search. But once I did, adapting it to P2 was honestly trivial? Hopefully your guessing pays off on day 5 :)
Day 4 complete on the Advent of Code calendar. An ASCII Christmas tree takes shape
I really am loving #AdventOfCode as a daily coding challenge. Just finished Day 4, and went a lil bit insane getting my word search bot to work. But I persevered and translated my mental algorithm into functional python, and I am 2 stars deeper...

Check out the trailer to see what it's like to unload a gatling gun into a horde of skeletons, or throw fireballs at a boss, all while managing your army of towers
I just completed "Historian Hysteria" - Day 1 - Advent of Code 2024 #AdventOfCode adventofcode.com/2024/day/1
(forreal this time, didn't realize there was a second half lmao)
a screenshot of the advent of code site reading: "That's the right answer! You are one gold star closer to finding the Chief Historian."
I'd never heard of this but it was a fun puzzle to start my morning!
Looking forward to tomorrow :)
That one joke is a classic for a reason: how do you know if someone uses Linux? Don't worry, they'll tell you
a brief overview of some main menu polish I've added...
I didn't want just a boring map select!

It's SO good in VR. I would just stare at the night sky in wonder. Gorgeous game
WHY does Bluesky not advertise more that you can use your own domain as a handle. <Handle>.bsky.social is *UGLY*!
Custom domain handles? SEXY
Oh, I'm really sorry! I'd rather put my hands in a blender than use AI in my work, but thanks anyways!
I just got here but I'd love to meet new game dev peeps :)
Now that I'm here, wishlist www.savethecastle.net ! it's a neat VR Action Tower Defense :)
