Alright, I think I have made up my mind. I am going to spend the next couple weeks revamping my streaming setup/UI/channel points and practicing pixel art.

And then we can dive into some gaming and game dev/pixel art streams!

Hmmmm, I'm debating about jumping back into some video editing.

I want to make a Crimson Desert game review vid and also finish up that History of Battle Royal vid.

I'm kinda in the mindset that I honestly want to try to give streaming another go.

The subtle urge to work on a new game project from a game idea that popped into my head recently is overwhelming

I must stay strong and keep working on my current project, though!

Debating about returning to streaming just hanging out and working on game dev/3d models or maybe some gaming like Deadlock.

Idk, maybe I'll get back to it one day.

Just keep learning and keep on being awesome.

There are just so many negative viewpoints and people questioning my expertise on the subjects.

I'm just out here answering questions. If you don't like my help, then just move on.

But I love helping people who ask, and I am happy to accept any knowledge from others!

I would never consider myself an expert authority on game development or anything, but I do have enough programming experience and experience using Unity that I can definitely help beginner to mid-tier game devs with stuff and point them in the right direction.

I used to want to stream game dev, help people learn about it, and point them in the right direction.

There are just soooo many ways to do development that there is no solely "correct" way to do things.

As long as the game works and functions correctly, that's all that matters.

I’ve seen plenty of nasty comments about using guides while achievement hunting and “not experiencing the game fully.”

Funny thing is, I’ve been having more fun and fulfillment with gaming than I have in a long time.

It's so strange, not having streaming on my mind has been so freeing in my mindset towards playing video games.

I feel like when you stream, you are always thinking about whether or not you should play a game on stream or not. And then feel bad when you don't stream it.

But idk, maybe I will start streaming game dev work sessions again.

I am just hesitant cause I generally get distracted and have a hard time while game deving during stream.

But maybe maybe

I'm not really sure what I wanna do anymore with my Vtubing and content creation atm.

All I know is that I am aiming to release a game by the end of the year. 🤞

Streaming hiatus feels weird. I miss going live, but I’m enjoying the extra free time too.

Maybe I’ll return with casual Souls-likes or Deadlock (been playing a lot). I’ve been making game dev progress, so chill dev hangout streams are tempting.

I've got a vision for my game art style in my head, now I just gotta do the hard part of actually getting it created in Unity.

But if it all works out and I get it working, it will be awesome.

I have settled on spending the extra time it will take to purposely not use AI to help with generating code.

I feel like the ability to release a game without the AI Steam disclosure would be too beneficial these days, especially for a small game like mine.
