Fanfiction etiquette is incredibly simple, actually. Don't like it, don't read it. No one is forcing you to, which is why it looks ridiculous to complain about it, especially if you were content warned. AO3 tags + "exclude" is one of the greatest reading tools ever. Use them properly and voila!

Idk who needs to hear this but using reference isn’t cheating and needing to look at reference doesn’t make you any less of any artist and tbh if anyone says otherwise they are toxic as all hell.

Definitely check with your doctor and if they seem apprehensive you should get a second opinion, maybe a walk in clinic worst case. Something like this is actually pretty serious esp if you don't know ur family history. Best of luck!!
