Very sad news about Chiv and a complete shock to everyone. Top player and person and very much a big game player as proven by his goals. Most people think of the Wolves UEFA Final, for some reason I always remember his two goals in an away win against Leeds in intimidating circumstances.

Yes and no ! I’m sure you know what I mean.
Captaincy is a role you grow into.
I was a much better one after 250 games rather than 50.

Great to see & hear Sonny back at THFC at last game – his presence lifted everyone. Re his ask of “please don’t forget me”: from one who’s had a career and moved on… supporters, as Sir Bill said, the most important people at the Club, never forget a player who gave everything & showed such humility.

Where’s 56 years gone since my debut game against Sunderland?

Hopefully always gave 100% but not always 100% fit to play! Good luck today against Wolves. COYS! SP www.steveperryman.com

A great man's awareness of this problem saved my life, so I'd like more people to be aware.

Not close enough to be aware of how he was thought of but if I was to guess I’d say sensible and very able. SP

Yes. Some softness in this group ( as in every group ) which showed itself in the Bournemouth performance
but in a way I was happy ( but unhappy too ) that the Manager sampled it so early so not be fooled as to what’s needed.
Looks like we have a competitive / controlled captain to drive us
