The square on the right used to be a big parking lot. And their were 4 car lanes instead of 2 for public transport.

Like many other cities, Utrecht was very much car-oriented.

But Utrecht made some tough and bold choices and became the city many people admire today.

In France, legislation came into effect recently for all car parks that have over 80 spaces to be covered with solar panels. Estimated to add around 11GW of renewable energy capacity to the national grid. Why not do likewise in Scotland? Braehead, Silverburn, Glasgow Fort etc.

Uh, no. It’s about the fascist bombing of the town of Gernika. It’s got nothing to do with peace or resistance, and all to do with the horrors of war and fascism. Every single thing depicted in it is in excruciating pain.

I highly recommend that everyone follow artists. If you do, your feed is filled with art every day. Real, original art. It's bonkers that you can even have this. Amazing. Undeniably cool.

And then support those artists, when you can, because that helps the delight continue.
