So this was a campaign promise not an observation.

Kids.. these are called audio tapes. You could play music on them with an amazing device called a Walkman. Some even contained games and programs you could load on your computer!

Mrs. Harris lost a hammering opportunity to reply: "Sorry but, *Which* Springfield are we talking about? I'm sure The Simpsons had already portrayed this, tho."

Las redes sociales las hacen sus usuarios. Y por lo que explicas (que se veía venir), Threads no me interesa lo más mínimo.

Don't you think that sooner or later this network (or Mastodon, or Threads... you name it) will become the same? Because I'm already starting to see toxic people (and their equally toxic content) here...

It is sad to see it die. I got a lot out of it, but ever since EM took over, it's collapsed, and it's getting worse. Life's too short to waste it on garbage content.

If you know of people that want to come here, I have 5 codes just sitting around. Would be happy to share.

Ah, the younger generations... Maybe they'll have their own "Ballmer guy" (I vote for Elon) but it won't be the same. No sir... 😂

I now have a #dotnet #blazor app that is able to maintain per-user state across server-rendered, server-interactive, and wasm-interactive pages in a single app. It still needs some refinement, but at least the concept is proven to work!

Blog post is next.

IMO, the same bullshit that sold us the coolness of the 'Google-like workplaces' (you know, those open offices with people playing FIFA on an Xbox or roaming around on a segway while having some matcha).
Real issue is wanting to go from one extreme to the other to solve any particular problem.

Pro tip: If you use Windows on #Mac with #Parallels (Intel Macs, I don't know about the M ones), every time you update Parallels, check that the Hypervisor type has not been changed back to "Apple", it is quite bad (you will notice 😉). Always have it in "Parallels", as you can also do HV nesting.
