Now that looks a mighty decent pint - so much so that I can’t bring myself to use that gnat’s piss emoji after it 👍

Our 12-panel array (already there when we bought the house) feeds in direct but our FIT payment cancels out the leccy bill.
In addition we have 4 panels just heating water so no need for immersion or gas heating.

Well I’m sort of present in a “sitting in a tin box in a field” sort of way but I’ve not been called correct for a long time 🤷‍♂️

Goodnight then Skylarks, whether you’re sat in strange railway stations or contemplating regional pork products, have a good one.
Tomorrow I shall resume my hunt for a tank full of diesel to go away for Easter…

Cumberland sausage - Wikipedia

They are about an inch thick with coarsely chopped meat and look like little fire-hoses.
Ask for a five or six inch length for a single portion and enjoy!
Follow this wiki and you’ll understand why Cumbria is also home of gingerbread and sticky toffee pudding

A little tale: you may know real Cumberland is made in coils not links. I worked in a supermarket for a short while, when some people wanted Cumberland they never knew how much to buy so I always suggested number of diners x portion = length to buy

I love Cumberland sossidge too; it’s a hard choice between peppery spice or herby 🤷‍♂️
For the full experience try it with peas and carrots served in a large Yorkshire pudding

I got into conversation with someone in the village when the local chippie caught fire (she lived opposite). Short story, OH and I were invited to her wedding
