Did you know grape hyacinth, unlike true hyacinths, is edible? Just like the butterfly pea flower, you can separate the flowers from their stems and make a tea from them, and if you combine that with an acid (the usual one I've seen is lemonade) it turns bright pink and adds an earthy grapey flavor!
