Just a thought: How about we stop shaming the poor for buying things that may not be essential, and start shaming the rich for making a profit off things that are essential?

Not progress. Heavier trucks are killers of pedestrians and occupants of other vehicles.

They pay gas taxes that are designated for road upkeep but not much. The 7 cents/gallon federal gas tax has not been increased for decades.

My research, being peer reviewed, found no correlation to lockdowns. A major factor was warming temperatures. Any teacher will tell you that kids are more restless and inattentive during hot weather.

Should be applied to all vehicles. I proposed that manufacturers of motor vehicles be automatically liable for deaths years ago. Initiation of collisions are substantially a result of driver behavior but severity of consequences is largely determined by vehicle characteristics.
