No… Tucker,
you are not welcome, forgiven, excused, or given the benefit of the doubt.
You laughed on TV while children suffered and you did it for years, because the money was good.
You can rot.

Meta just paid the lowest effective federal tax rate in its history.
Thanks to tax breaks and loopholes, it avoided $13.7B in 2025 federal income taxes.
But now it's planning to lay off 10% of its global workforce (8,000 people) by May 20 — with more job cuts later this year.
Trickle down hoax.
Coachella is trying to wipe all of the footage of The Strokes protest set so I’m gonna post it here. The last images on the screen made me cry.
The desperate campaign to push AI down our throats is just what Nestlé did with baby formula, or Monsanto with patended seeds.
Manufactured Intermediation—inserting a corporate tollbooth into a process that used to be self-sustaining, using a low initial barrier to entry to destroy the alternative.
Senator Wyden can’t say it plainly without losing his security clearance, but this raises the alarm that Kash & crew have decided they can illegally surveil Americans without a warrant.
Bsky staff is scrambling to convince ppl that today's outage has nothing to do with their embrace of ai. That's great. We should make them scramble more. The cost of replacing competent humans with AI needs to be greater on every single level for every single company.

I am deserving of all the blessings.
This is what normalization looks like.
the US Navy is "urgently hiring" morticians
For more than a week, Amazon has managed to keep a death at its Troutdale, Oregon, facility out of public view.
Workers I spoke to are pissed.

It’s a good question, let’s clear the air:
1) Disco is awesome, like 25 all-time classic tracks in a 4 year span,
2) Disco was hated because it was queer, brown, and black,
3) Disco was hated because it paired women and men in a different power dynamic.
4) “Disco Sucks” was a “ MAGA” test run.
A series of three posts by Kat Tenbarge © @kattenbarge.bsky.social which read: "A powerful man sexually pursuing a young woman who works for him is oppressive. It immediately limits and reshapes her future to her detriment, whether she is physically forced into it or not. It's coercion either way, and that is why it's so wrong. It's an abuse of power. I've seen a lot of people struggle to grasp this even though it's pretty obvious why. I've seen people say the young woman in question should just quit, which makes it obviously why this act is oppressive. It leaves her with no good options. This is why these forms of sexual harassment and abuse at scale work to reinforce men's dominance. If the woman's "best" option is to quit, then this pattern of behavior can and IS used to keep women out of certain industries and positions of power and spheres of influence."
"If the woman’s “best” option is to quit, then this pattern of behavior can and IS used to keep women out of certain industries and positions of power and spheres of influence." FUCKING EXACTLY. @kattenbarge.bsky.social has it EXACTLY.
Amia Srinivasan’s “Sex as Pedagogical Failure” should be required reading.
Whenever a man in position of authority pursues a subordinate woman, he is changing her trajectory in that space forever. The research on how much even “consensual” affairs hurt the women involved is jaw dropping.
"In Boise, the small but courageous flagpole gesture was felt earnestly. One Idahoan who stopped to admire the new display expressed just how important it was to see the city fighting back.
"'I feel loved,' he told local news. 'I feel accepted by the people that matter. I feel hope.'”
OOOF, all of the wage growth over the last year erased in one month
The details in here are horrifying but needed to be made public. Please take care while reading.
Been saving this comic panel for this.

No, but actually.
Or: why attending to our inner lives is actually important for fighting fascism.
My thoughts were too big for Bsky but here we go
Melania Trump wants these photos and emails to be scrubbed from the Internet. Please stop liking and sharing them. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
We believe Jefferson Davis to be the worst man in all history.
On Confederate Surrender Day, I give you the Liberator's take on Jefferson Davis: "We believe Jefferson Davis to be the worst man in all history. He was a repudiator and slaveholder. He has been a secessionist, a traitor and rebel....He has sedulously endeavored to subvert our free institutions."
A Black congresswoman faces 17 years in prison for visiting an ICE facility. Jan. 6 rioters got pardons. Trump’s DOJ isn’t pursuing justice; it’s sending a message to every member of Congress who dares do oversight.
Stand with Rep. LaMonica McIver.

It moves me to tears: I look at the moon and for the first time in my life, I know people are looking back. Go Artemis, go.

This is what radicalized me as a native of color Seeing them send fire hoses attack dogs and sound cannons on water and land defenders during Standing rock
66 Historians have a word for Germans who joined the Nazi party, not because they hated Jews, but out of a hope for restored patriotism, or a sense of economic anxiety, or a hope to preserve their religious values, or dislike of their opponents, or raw political opportunism, or convenience, or ignorance, or greed. That word is "Nazi." Nobody cares about their motives anymore. They joined what they joined. They lent their support and their moral approval. And, in so doing, they bound themselves to everything that came after. Who cares any more what particular knot they used in the binding? A.R. Moxon
I keep coming back to this.
Eyewitness video from the scene of today's ICE shooting in California appears to (you guessed it) contradict officials' claims that the man "weaponized" his vehicle. The car is reversing and the agents appear to be well clear of it.
Do I think Trump will actually nuke Iran? No, and if he tried I think it is likelier than not that his generals, etc would refuse such an order. But at the point the President starts threatening to wipe out a people is the point at which you must take his threats seriously.
posting this 'ol thing again for no reason
