This Data Center Is Getting a $77 Million Tax Break to Create One Job No other project in the country has gotten such a large subsidy to create so few jobs, according to watchdogs.

A New Jersey data center will reportedly receive $77 million in tax breaks — while only creating one permanent job.

One job, in exchange for higher utility bills, noise pollution, and potential groundwater pollution.

Is it any wonder communities are organizing to stop data centers?

Americans deserve an FBI director who doesn't compromise our national security.

I'm joining @democrats-judiciary.house.gov to investigate concerning allegations about alcohol abuse by FBI Director Kash Patel, which may be interfering with his ability to do his job - protecting the American people.

Death rates at ICE detention facilities raise concerns about health standards: Study Death rates in immigration detention are nearing record highs, raising concerns among physicians regarding the health service standards at federal facilities.

At least 17 people have already died in ICE custody this year—outpacing every other past Administration.

ICE has a shameful & egregious record of violating people's rights, traumatizing children, & killing our neighbors.

They believe they are the only authentic Americans. Everyone else is visiting. So when anyone else tries to limit their power, they react as if a foreign entity were stealing their sovereignty.

It's stupid and evil and often illegal -- and far FAR too many liberals choose to play along with it.

NEVER NEVER NEVER FORGET the January 6 insurrection and that the perpetrators of this violence have been pardoned by the same Regime that instigated it. (And those same perpetrators have been hired by DHS.)

Donald Trump appears to have missed—or is delaying—his 2026 physical, with no schedule or results released.

At the same time, his behavior is raising concerns—even among some right-wing outlets.

The silence is deafening.

The United States, a place where the rich can get away with countless things. After all when you have enough money what’s a fine other than just another monthly fee. We need more leaders willing to take action, on Mayday we have a chance to do this collectively! No work! No school! No shopping!

Reading the FT front page story about a Chinese company introducing a battery with a 1500 km range & six minute recharging time & about how two Chinese companies own more than half of the global EV battery market & I am struck by the different realities the US and China occupy. We’ve lost the plot.

Democrats did not want to do any mid-decade redistricting. It was Trump who started it in June 2025 with a phone call to Greg Abbott after more special election losses. Dems warned they’d respond. But Texas did it anyway - without the consent of the voters. Then Dems responded.

Interesting that the GOP redistricting efforts are driven by the legislatures AGAINST the will of the voters (TX, MO) while the Dem redistricting efforts are state-wide referendums that reflect the WILL of the voters.

... it's breaking the fundamental contract between paper and reader, too.

If the byline says "John Smith" and it's written by an AI bot in the style of John Smith, your paper has f'ing lied to me before I've read the first word of the story, and I don't see why I should trust anything past that
