Tiny story day!

I didn't do this in March, but I'm back! Drop a comment in the thread and get a tiny story just for you. If you'd like a prompt, feel free to riff off of any sort of transportation.

I'll get to these through the rest of the month, and hopefully you'll get something fun to enjoy.

Oof, so...guess what? Due to a very frustrating mistake, I had to temporarily "unpublish" my preorder option for A Waltz of Sinister Import (#3 in the Unexpected Adventures of Lady & Lord Riven)...which lost every one of its 200+ preorders! 😱

I am SO sorry for the inconvenience and frustration. 1/2

Hell Is Empty - Lightspeed Magazine And all the devils are here. “What’s that from?” Millie asks as she gets her coat. I stand at the back window, looking out. Usually, you can see the downtown skyline from this position. Today, it’s just the hellmouth. A long tube that looks like an esophagus that’s been yanked out of a kaiju and dangles from the ground. Bloody, meaty, smoking.

New story day.

This story was deeply personal. It gave me the courage to keep resisting.

Thank you @lightspeedmagazine.com for publishing this story.

Anyway last thoughts. Of these first 25 puzzles...

My favorite: probably #11: Dungeons & Dragons bc c'mon

The hardest: #14: Liberty Rainbow all that solid black was SUCH BULLSH*T

The easiest: #24: Balloon Magic bc it's only 300 pieces

Will forever haunt my dreams: #12: Crazy Crop

Anyway the puzzling will continue. Husband and I still like these a lot and there's a lot to be said for spending a night listening to music and doing a jigsaw puzzle. We are old.
