And she's already in a much better game. GOD BLESS THE RING.
This is a joke since you need to state this outright on social media now.

Also Dead Fantasy is not how Tifa fights and (I understand I am the minority here) it's ass.
People posting "clearly you've never seen Tifa fight" and then posting a video that would only be a combo in a Marvel Vs Capcom game which they refuse to play because it's confusing and "broken".
Discourse around it is taken super personally and is very vitriolic. I thought I took games too seriously until I had seen some of the reactions people will have to your opinion. Now I think I have a healthy relationship with it as a medium and a lot of online people are psychos.
A big problem with video game discussion online is that people take disappointment to be a personal slight and unfairly malign otherwise decent games for not living up to the expectations set by their predecessors or that they set in their head.
And then they never let that go.
I can see a game super close to this one that is just much better tbh and it wouldnt take alot to push it over that line. The writing is so good its effortlessly carrying what should be a pretty forgettable experience otherwise.
If they did remake it tho, the dragon bass cannon is non-negotiable.
And granted it isn't doing nothing, I enjoy trying to puzzle out how to get the most out of its systems but that feels a bit more like me finding the fun rather than it being entirely intentional. Looping enemies with weapon skills has a certain satisfaction and alot of the spells are actually cool.
I'm playing this now so I don't personally really require it but if they made the gameplay a bit more palatable I think it'd open this story to more people and I do think it's a story worth sharing.
Yeah I'm being somewhat facetious because I'd never say a game NEEDS a remake but at the same time I also see a remake as another distinct piece of art, not an improvement or replacement.
Press jump+attack is an infinite combo on nearly every single enemy in the game too so its also easy to just bust it entirely wide open.
I am not really feeling the horrors and monotony of war while yelling DO YOU WANNA LEARN HOW TO DO A FUCKIN INFINITE?
The story and cutscenes are excellent and they feel gated by a game that just isnt interesting to play. I will continue to get the other endings though, I am enjoying it in spite of the above.
I believe that there is definitely an intentional element of monotony here from a thematic level but this would still be present and better to play with even the minor tweak of letting me use its systems.
It's designed in a way that disincentivises you from attempting to do anything with its (already very limited) combat. As well as magic not counting towards combos for some reason and very wonky balance on some enemy attacks.
Alot of your power comes from weapon level and only killing enemies with that weapon counts towards it, therefore you cannot use interesting things like the dragon or allies because its a waste of kills.
Finally played Drakengard to ending A and realised that the first guy here is correct.
As usual, the fiction that people write about this game online is truly something. Totally fucking toxic and useless conversations.
Welcome back skub.
I said from day 1 that Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is an exercise on focusing your development time on the aspects that actually matter and this is totally in line with that.
But people will use this as an excuse to say its bad or something.
Black skinned Sol Badguy goes hard
Credits on Nioh 1. This game definitely takes some shaky steps but it nails the rest with confidence.
It doesn't get enough credit for how early it showed up to the "Soulslike" party and not only nailed it but made something entirely unlike any of the trend chasers.
Content?? Count me in
He's been doing this for a while but this is especially egregious. Piss off.
Can't think of a better way to celebrate stories that explore the nature of humanity like Yoko Taro's work and Neon Genesis Evangelion than some absolute AI bullshit.
So sad to see a talented artist resort to this crap.
Already have this game on my shortlist of titles I'm interested in this year but what the fuck does that even mean???
Not being allowed to laugh at ridiculous marketing statements without being called "miserable" by social media users has led to the absolute insane statement of the game's target audience being "content lovers" lmao
So many people say the age of traditional game journalism is dead because of fan driven content but then don't want any of the responsibility that comes with being the "new press".
People need to be more responsible especially when interacting with developers directly.
A lot of the people who think themselves savvy on these sites do nothing more than parrot the opinion of youtubers and spread vitriol.
It's much easier to be part of an in-group bandwagon than to form your own opinion on something. To be fair instead of just spouting memes.
People just dunking on this without reading his points are part of the issue.
Highguard may have never succeeded regardless but so much online/social media content now is lame and leans negative for no other reason than it gets more engagement than an evenhanded perspective.
Nevermind, Romeo is a Dead Man just launched on Steam.
Sympathy of course for everyone out of work but since I boycotted this game from release then I'm not going to pretend that I'm not happy about the outcome.
I hope you find gainful employment at a company who doesn't treat their workers like shit.
