Think of how many games where the verb is violence. How many games (including the ones nominated for tonight’s BAFTA awards) where you shoot, fight, kill.
But when games want to explore the topic of violence in a meaningful way, that’s the issue?

This was an insta-back for me: it looks vibrant, vital, with a team that will do justice to the content.

If "anti-capitalist-colonialist deckbuilder with gorgeous art" appeals to you as much as it does me, there's still half a day left to back

In mathematics* Fuchsian groups are not pronounced like the colour with an en added at the end. They're pronounced much more like the surname of Lazarus Fuchs.

* or at least everytime I've heard a mathematician day it!

All Will Rise: a narrative courtroom deck-builder A game about taking a billionaire to court for the murder of a river.

14 years ago we accidentally hired a genius to write the script for 80 Days. Now she’s narrative director on a deck-builder about billionaire busting.

Check out All Will Rise:

Chat, is this real? (But I'm asking a French cat and it pretends not to understand with Gallic insouciance.)

I would totally relate if this was books, especially second hand books! but I guess we find music quite differently.
How are you finding lots of artists/albums you're interested in? I remember there being so many on your bandcamp wishlist.
I'm quite bad at finding new music.

Epic made provably incorrect statements about the game’s content, refused to provide details supporting their claims, and has not shared their claimed AO IARC certificate, which normally includes a link for the developer to appeal. They do not ‘love that studio’, they have effectively ghosted us

Outsiders are supposed to not understand that kind of thing so they make a gaffe and expose themselves as not belonging. I'm also reminded of when Lady Di bought expensive gifts for the royal family instead of silly things.

This reminds me a lot of the Alan Clark comment about Heseltine that he was the kind of person "who bought his own furniture", i.e. he didn't inherit it.

Quick reminder that your boy here is a freelancer in copywriting, content and video editing. I rock at it too. If you're looking to hire someone, hire me. If you're not? Find someone who is and let me know (or just keep me in mind if you see something).
Thanks gang, love you x

I know autistic/adhd people can have particular "problems" with interrupting/knowing when it's "acceptable" to do so. But NTs absolutely do overlap/interrupt and have, like, regional qnorms about what's appropriate.

I'm afraid historically whiteness can shift to mean pretty much what people in control want it to mean. If people want it to exclude the Jews then it can, if they want it to exclude the Irish it can.
I don't think that they won't take the chance to exclude anyone they don't like.
