We can better protect contractors from being unjustly burdened with responsibility for the mistakes of others. My legislation to address the growing problem of indemnity statutes in construction contracts is one step closer to becoming law in PA.

Happy Passover!

I am committed to being an ally for the trans community and advocating for their rights and respect, not just on this #TransDayOfVisisbility, but EVERY day.
My legislative colleague Senator Joe Picozzi and I stood with families to recognize Profound Autism Day. People with profound autism deserve to be heard and their caregivers need real support. We must invest in DSP wages and respite care to build a system that works for everyone.
Now, we need the Republican Majority in the PA Senate to get on board with this bill so that we can get Pennsylvania workers the wage increase they desperately need and deserve!
You can make your voice heard on this issue, and fill out a petition on my website.

It’s past time we #RaiseTheWage in Pennsylvania! Yesterday, I was proud to help pass legislation in the PA House to increase our state’s minimum wage.
We all live under and carry the same light from the sun. I recently asked my colleagues in the #PaHouse to take a moment for silent worship and reflection on the everyday wonder that God creates for us.
