Ford has been great to work for as I have been able to transition to very different jobs within the same organization whenever I felt it time to try other things.

Not sure how common that experience is, but I am grateful for it. Has been a great 17 years so far.

I was lucky with my path. A high school auto competition got me a scholarship to become a certified Ford technician *and* get an associate’s degree. That made it easy for me to pivot and go back for a bachelor’s when I decided to do other things in the auto industry.
