Who owns the world you built?
Not you. Not yet.
When money flows through creative work, the platform decides who gets paid. I built protocol infrastructure where the splits live in the records themselves. The math is the math. #ATProto

This is precisely why I am building the Ptah protocol. People should be able to access their info how they want, easily, and build on it how they want to view it too, if they can. It can work, done it for myself.
"I don't know what this is but it looks cool as f**k! I wanna build a world!"
Protocol infrastructure ain't gotta be scary. Build things. Keep credit. That's it.

I also really like the button on the site that rephrases it for people who don't know what Lexicons are and never will. Excited to see what the AppView ends up looking like
I truly believe obfuscation is gatekeeping. How can people do until they know, you know? ✊🏾
Exactly!!
You see the vision. I’m building on this as well myself. It’s been exciting and keeping me awake 😂🙏🏾
We should also be able to play together on top of all the other very serious things that are possible.
This is the kind of shit that drew me to this protocol. The idea of being in an active web of social networks while everything lives in one big folder you alone can control and can selfhost, sharing things without giving up control over the data or needing to run entire social media like ActivityPub
What if your D&D campaign didn't die when the group fell off?
Every character. Every session. Every wild moment y'all still talk about. SAVED. Credited. Portable.
Your world outlives the campaign. As it should.

Obfuscation is gatekeeping.
Ptah has 15 record types. Sounds like a lot.
You need ONE to start: World.
Make a world. That's it. Everything else comes when you need it.

Two different people saw Ptah today. Both immediately said: “GAMES!”
Games are shared state. Everyone agreeing what happened. That's literally what this protocol does.
Y'all gonna build some WORLDS?! 👀

Learning and growing inside the #ATProto system is so interesting. So many people being creative all at once is inspiring AND a constant adjustment. But that keeps it lively! Learning. 😂
"Nobody owns the infrastructure."
That ain't a slogan. That's how it works.
Your world. Your characters. Your history. YOURS. Portable. Permanent. Credited.
No platform owns your creative work. Period.

If you build worlds, run competitions, or care about creative authorship on the open web — this is what I'm building.
Schemas, design docs, and example world chains on GitHub. Feedback welcome.

Named for the Egyptian god of craftsmen and architects — the one who conceived the world in his heart and spoke it into existence.
The hieroglyphic name maps to the architecture:
𓊪 P — foundation layer
𓏏 T — record layer
𓉔 H — attribution chain

The Ptah Protocol — open world infrastructure for ATProto.
Eight record types for world-building, competitive events, and narrative provenance. Every record carries permanent attribution. Every contribution traces back to who made it.
Schemas are live on the network. Built on #Blacksky.
