Why are people saying TV does nothing in TPOT, this isn’t even a ‘respect my opinion’ situation anymore it’s legit wrong. Disliking TV as a character is fine but he’s fundamentally different from the TPOT cast. TV does stuff and is helpful, he communicates differently from others #bfdi #osc #tpot

Me when I have a show idea I am super motivated to do but I have another object show in progress and making 2 at once would be too much

Ultimately though, if you don’t like shows not having voice acting, that’s completely subjective, I just strive for the creators of these object shows being understood amongst people, I don’t have this goal just because I have my own but many people have a similar situation and I love text shows

Heck, I’d probably have cancelled it at the time, so making your object show a text show is something that I hate being treated as a “do not recommend” option because it’s a very good option imo. It in fact, can save an object show, at least from my experience

I’ll be honest. If my show (TGOS) used voice acting, I wouldn’t have made 23 episodes, I wouldn’t have made a movie, and I wouldn’t have made 6 hours of content, I would be stuck way before, maybe even episode 1.

Something I’ve felt is that the reasoning behind text shows being text shows is never talked about at all, but I did make a youtube video of my own that shows this perspective. The most common reasons being a crowded home, not having the voice range, or not wanting to reveal your voice to the public

What I also dislike is when people would just try to pressure (or even try to force) a creator to use voice acting instead, because they don’t like text shows.

Plus it’s definitely not helpful as a text object show creator if I just get a comment that only focuses on the fact my show uses text, I am fully aware of that and honestly I will continue to use text.

What I dislike is when every other aspect of the show is pretty much dismissed, because there are many other factors to what makes an object show good, like writing. Some text shows can have phenomenal writing and visuals and I love that

In regard to text shows, I don’t mind if someone doesn’t like having to read or whatnot, that’s completely fine imo.

I also feel this for -ly shows
A lot of them focus more on being “-ly” than they do being shows
And I also noticed a lot of TDOS-esque humour
Albeit they’re made likely in a short period of time but a simple brainstorming session can suffice

With that being said though I do love said shows a lot, I just like it when shows focus less on ‘fitting in’ and more on standing out
