Driving 🚗
Parking available on site, w/a small lot down the street on Rebecca (just before Cahal).

Parking is available at Inglewood Elementary School at Shinkle & Riverside.

Neighborhood parking on Shinkle, Ann, and Dorchester.

Please be mindful of driveways and mailboxes!

Transit 🚌
Catch the 4 to Riverside and Dorchester or Riverside and Porter.

The 56 stops at Gallatin and Carolyn with a 1 mile walk to the community center (20 minutes).

Getting there: South Inglewood Community Center is at 1624 Rebecca Street, 37216.

Bike 🚲
Ride on Riverside, turn onto Shinkle, community center is ahead.
Ride on Cahal, turn onto Branch, turn left on Moore, community center is on the right.
There will be unattended bike racks for parking.

Nashville Bicycle Festival rolls tomorrow, 10A-2P with SO MUCH GOOD STUFF. From gear swap (or GEAR TAKE, lawd please take it!!!) to pedicab rides, from CARGO CARRYING CHALLENGES to slowest bicycle races, a bicycle rodeo, & bike/helmet giveaways - whew!

Since the first bicycle festival we have been giving away safe, clean, sharp-lookin' bikes for all ages! These are a few examples of what we'll have on Saturday.

An excellent article and perspective from @benvaught.bsky.social. Missing here is that CM Eslick shouted at and threatened NDOT staff that he would remove them himself, and abruptly hung up from a call where they were addressing his concerns. He also went door to door to conjure up dissent.

How many bike racks do they have?

35 human beings have been killed on Nashville roads so far this year, up 25%.

This will be boring to those without kids, but I just don't understand how parents aren't more vocal about how anti-kid the streets outside schools are
