a floor based sculpture by elena ailes that features two equally and modestly sized pieces of fabric soaked in silver nitrate laying neatly side by side. on top of one of the pieces is a intricately crafted rectangle of stone netting. the “ghost” of this piece of netting is left on the surface of the other piece of fabric due to the chemical reaction from the sun. apart of the “by bye avondale” exhibition in chicago.
