Watching a hurricane coming, and with it, your demise, at human perceptions of time, might be terrifying. But at machine perceptions of time, perhaps it’s more than long enough to make peace?

I’ve always wondered how an artificial intelligence that is processing at gigahertz+ scale would perceive time. It could be programmed/forced to do it at human like parameters, or perhaps it can live a thousand of our lifetimes in a day, or hour, or minute.

The key to mayo as a sandwich condiment is a thin layer. I think what grosses people out about mayo is when they get something with mayo on it and when they bite into it mayo shoots out everywhere and that’s all they taste. Used sparingly, it works well
