One of my all-time favorites!! Though the experience does somewhat depend on how much you like Shakespeare's tragedies haha. Have you read "The Secret History" by any chance? They are often compared together for similar themes and story setup.
Honorable Mentions:
- Oryx and Crake
- The Three-Body Problem
- All Quiet on the Western Front
the category is βi wasnβt the same person i was before i read this bookβ

₯ζ (For a Lie). Finally fell under my friend's persistent pressures to start this book. So far it's really good, not really what I was expecting.

Ooo thanks for the recommendations, putting them on my tbr
On that note, does anyone have any good recommendations?
Love open endings. Of course, the ending has to be done wellβnot just put there because the author ran out of motivation or didnβt know how to finish the storyβbut I enjoy endings that are left a bit ambiguous and undefined.

βIf you cannot love me, I will die. Before you came I wanted to die, I have told you many times. It is cruel to have made me want to live only to make my death more bloody.β
