A government can provide services (e.g., police, fire-fighting, parks, road maintenance, etc.) without owning/controlling the main industries.

No, he shouldn’t - and never should have been. But, those who are truly in power, like having a useful idiot figurehead in place so they can wield the power of the Presidency for their selfish and nefarious purposes. That’s been the game the entire time -
Here it is, your #Bluesky #Bike Content of the Day for Monday, 4/20/26. The Bikeist doesn’t endorse vigilantism, but, there are some exceptions . . .
Mostly because those who are really in charge prefer to have an impotent idiot figurehead so that they can wield the power of the Presidency in their own self-interest and to further their own agendas and to the benefit of their nefarious allies, such as Russia -
I would never have believed when I first watched Star Wars that many years later, @markhamillofficial.bsky.social would still be the hero we all need, working against a evil empire.
Thanks Mr Hamill!

Ahhh! That’s so rare! If it’s their rims/spokes, then I’ll bet there is a one year warranty on them and much longer on the frame (often lifetime except for downhill mountain bikes). The dealer should have known that without you having to point it out. I’d find a new shop -
Not sure what type of bike this is, but, I’m betting that the bike manufacturer and wheel manufacturer are different entities. Bike companies, notoriously, equip new bikes with crappy wheels, so, that’s often the first upgrade. That said, it’s not, at all, unusual for a spoke to pop after 9 months
Here it is, your #Bluesky #Bike Content of the Day for Thursday, 4/16/26. No, a single broken spoke 9 months after purchase is not covered by warranty and is not the obligation of a shop to fix for free. Frames are usually warranted, not basic parts - especially those that break easily -
I guess because the algorithm can easily discern that I’m an animal lover, it has been feeding me droves of posts by folks sharing the demise of their pets. Seems odd that so many are sharing something so personal with strangers. I get that some might, but, enough that this has become a trend?
Suggestion: mail her an Amazon fire stick (I hate Bezos and Amazon so much, but, they have the leverage in this situation) and use Task Rabbit to get someone to set it up for her. Once it’s set up, it’s pretty simple to use.
Ohmygodwhat? Whatever you were trying to share has been deleted. Screenshot?

Cardinal Cupich: "We're dehumanizing the victims of war by turning the suffering of people & killing of children & our own soldiers into entertainment. To splice together movie cuts w/ actual bombings & targeting of people for purposes of entertainment is sickening. This is not who we are."
