Are there any geniuses out there who can 3D print a mouthpiece for this humidifier that would allow me to clip on this vocal warm up straw?

I could have a whole other hand free for activities before the show

The songs I’ve wanted to cover most for the longest time:
-‘Missing The War’
by Ben Folds Five
-‘I Will Kill Again’, or
‘Don’t Let Him Waste Your Time’
by Jarvis Cocker

They don’t. Just one of those neurodivergent observations that makes me feel like an alien.

Some people are only happy when they’re miserable, so let them be that. I’m good

They don’t. I just find it strange/hard to understand. I like seeing people grow/change for the better. & I’ve always been really grateful anytime my own ignorance has been pointed out to me so that I can adjust course. I always thought change/growth was the point. Disappointing to see when it’s not

There’s always a screenshot of your worst moments.

But never anything about the apology or the lesson that came after.

That’s weird as hell

Beginning a TikTok with “Watch this!” is the quickest way to guarantee that I will absolutely not watch it.

I listened to a few others that Dave Fridmann & his boys were working on. Flaming Lips ‘Do you Realize’ & Elton John’s ‘Rocketman’ & it was amazing! They had the original tracks/stems though, so it was done properly from top to bottom. Felt like sitting inside of the song. Really great

I don’t really know. We mixed it in an Atmos room while making it. It was this chair at a console w like a dozen different speakers surrounding & pointing at the listener. I’m not sure what the average Atmos setup is like, but it was a cool experience to listen in that setup/environment.

Has anybody listened to the Dolby Atmos version of ‘Gloom Division’? I know we made an Atmos version, but I don’t know if it was ever even released, or listened to by anyone with an Atmos setup.

Yes. It’s difficult when it happens because I love what I do, but burnout & mental health are real things

There’s always a chance. I always love meeting folks who are fans, but I’m also old and an introvert, so sometimes I physically & psychologically can’t do it. I always feel bad when I can’t

I can’t ever seem to force it. When a song hits a wall, it stays there until the wall collapses on its own. Makes the process longer, but that’s art. For me anyway. I feel like It’s gotta come from somewhere else.

They asked me to once! But there were so many swears & I was trying to be a good dad example for my kids.
(It didn’t work, though. They still totally swear)

I think the plan is to do one more and then release it as like a proper EP.

Maybe! I love those boots, but anything you wear on tour will 100% be destroyed, so you’ve got to be strategic about what you want to say goodbye to

I dunno.
I’m very lucky career-wise & life-wise. & in more ways than I could count too.
It’s easy to tally up the bad stuff, but I feel like the scales always get evened out.

Had a main stage set at Reading & Leeds yrs ago.
A crew member volunteered to change my bass strings before we went on.

He wound them backwards.

I didn’t notice until we were walking onto the stage.

Played the whole set like that.

Same guy was later fired for assaulting our TM.

lol
