I've definitely been super inactive lately, but have every intention to make more Anaether-related art and keep sharing with you guys. I'm just burnt-out from not having a nanny for the baby yet. Once I do, I think I'll be able to get back into the flow of things.

I think rewiring my brain is actually kind of working. It's mostly about repeatedly interrupting demoralizing internal dialogue and incorporating new healthy habits, including encouraging thoughts.

It's actually a huge relief to be able to tell myself that I don't have to put in much detail at all in the backgrounds of my comic pages. Less work for me, and hopefully better-paced releases of content for you guys.

Scaling down on the level of detail for comic pages is so difficult for me. But if I can manage that, this story would get out to you guys so much more quickly.

I guess I'm still prototyping my comic pages. I did finish another page yesterday for the first time since 2023, so that's something.

lol thank you so much. I was so willy-nilly with this design and didn't care if there was any like, realistic meaning to it -- just that it looked kind of cool but also fitting for a sad-looking alien character.

Here's a really old piece of Vas I did from 2016. One of many, many prototypes and iterations I did. This was before they had much of a story at all.

I hear social media is declining and few platforms are actually growing. Unfortunately, conflict is often what drives activity. That's like what Twitter relies on. But community, a "3rd space" is what people need.

I'm really not sure what I'll actually do next... I mean honestly, websites feel more like "empty cul-de-sacs" compared to actual social media sites or platforms. Ppl see content mostly on social media anyway I think.
