So, if you have questions about prepping, just ask. Either here, or message me. I'll do my best to answer your questions or point you to someone who can. Thankfully, I do know a few people who are still in that field who aren't the stereotypical extreme, religious zealot conspiracy theorist.

That being said, I do understand the fears, concerns, and motivation behind that drive to prep for the uncertain. I have made all sorts of prepping mistakes, spent too much money, and fell for a lot of nonsense. I also learned a fuckton of valuable lessons, usable skills and critical knowledge.
I never stopped prepping. I just did so privately, and no longer as an author. I've tried to remain active in various prepper groups online, but end up exhausted. The same bunch of rotten apples keep showing up. I'm no longer available for the inevitable arguing, insults, and toxicity they bring.
That was a crisis moment. I withdrew. Due to the personal/family issues, this was the lowest point in my adult life. I shut down my website suddenly, stopped teaching, and ultimately returned to my first love, music. Music saved me from an extremely dark place, and there's no turning back for me.
I walked away from that as a career for a boatload of reasons. The stress of dealing w/ religious zealots within that population, including literal death threats and threats of other forms of violence, as well as personal/family situations that turned my life completely upside-down, was too much.
My feed is filled with people worries over the economy, loss of rights, potential war, and a serious interest in prepping.
FWIW, I've been a prepper for a couple of decades. I've written preparedness books, and had a website and emergency preparedness podcasts, with a focus on herbal medicine.

It's half-past wine o'clock for me.
A lot of relationship coaches post about things "Real Men" (TM) need to do in order for women to be in their "feminine energy" in order to make a relationship work.
Apparently, Real Men "lead" and "guide" their women.
No thanks. We already had parents. Your guidance is not required. We're good.
