Last week I attended EGU and gave a talk on my PhD. It was great to catch up with people and celebrate 20 years of Geomorphology at EGU!
I was also fortunate to demonstrate on the Namibia fieldtrip last month. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience of a βproperβ dunefield and teaching the students.

The government has shelved a rescue plan for the UK's beleaguered chalk streams - work for which had already been completed under the Tories - and which was basically ready to go.
Its author was told there was "no mandate" for the plan, despite Labour standing on a platform of river restoration.
