i love this series, these characters, but i can't imagine embracing any stories about them that are not via Leslye's writing and vision, nor the characters being recast and played by other actors

Sol’s explanation of the Force as a power (not unlike a consuming fire) is echoed in the season-long motif of killing a Jedi without need for a weapon: his misunderstanding is explicitly tied to his death. The mystical isn’t a weapon, and you’re doomed when you try to make it one.
