This is awesome
Man, The Knick was great.
youtu.be/HmjUxyuJ5N8?...
I need to know if Walt Weiss can play linebacker. No, I'm not asking for the Atlanta Falcons.
Same conference! bsky.app/profile/kory...
Not for nothing, but I cannot stress how much worse the live sports experience is with streaming as opposed to just normal cable.
They moved the face of their franchise + Kristaps Porzingis, Luke Kennard, and Vit Krejci midseason and only had to take back the bad contracts of Corey Kispert and Buddy Hield.
For once, they're set up to do some things.
The thing about the Hawks is they completely flipped their roster midseason without tanking or shelling out future assets.
They recreated this Nike poster 🔥

I’ve been to Scottsdale Community College and, yes, they are the Fighting Artichokes.
Yaxel Lendeborg started his CBB journey at Arizona Western College in Yuma, AZ.
This isn't meant as shade in any way, but the ACCAC is not considered one of the JUCO basketball hotbeds, nationally.
He also never played at Hutch.
UAB literally had to seek him out to find him.
Dude just knows how to play.
I think one of my favorite elements of the CBB portal is all the LM/MM players posting highlight tapes and expecting you not to notice that basically every play is happening as their team is getting blasted by, say, Western Illinois.
I have this weird thing where I take great joy in music choices that are played at random sporting events.
I say that to say that I was at a HS baseball game last night where the PA guy played the Commodores' "Nightshift" between innings and I'm kind of obsessed with it.
We’ve reached the time of year where every double-figure scorer in the low-major and mid-major leagues enters the portal in hopes of getting a bag, only to eventually be a role player at the power conference level.
The inbounds pass to Stirtz was incredible.
That Nebraska layup is exactly why you don't call a timeout in that situation.
Good Lord, the shot-making in the Vanderbilt/Nebraska game...
It's going to have to be a team-friendly deal, but I really want C.J. McCollum back with the Hawks next season.
It's kind of insane to watch this Hawks team right now, compared to what they were early in the season or even just a month ago.
Whatever the solution ultimately is, they have to eliminate back-to-backs and stretches with three games in four days.
The landscape of American basketball has changed. Guys play hundreds (thousands?) of games before they ever get to college. Bodies can't hold up.
I don’t remember another year where all the bracketologists pretty much agree on the 68 teams getting in like they do this year.
Also:
1. Live Aloha, Play Warrior kind of rules
2. I love that Patty Mills just rolled up to Picture Day in whatever he could find laying around the house
Hawaii has a player with the following college journey:
Hometown: Franklinton, North Carolina
Year 1: Louisiana Tech
Year 2: Niagara
Year 3: South Dakota
Year 4: Hawaii
Lastly, if they think Patton Pinkins is *that* good, then they better make sure no other P5 program tries to poach his Dad…
They were pretty miserable offensively nearly all season. Is that scheme or talent eval? I tend to think it’s a little bit of both.
Flipping your roster for a second year in a row at a place like Ole Miss isn’t a great spot to be in, but that’s where they are.
The worst thing Ole Miss could do is allow the SEC Tournament performance to cloud roster management decisions.
The bulk of that roster can’t win at the high-major level.
You’ve got to flip the roster again and hope player evaluation is better this time around.
I am not proud to admit that when I realized Adebayo was doing this against Washington, I immediately checked to see how many minutes Trae Young had played.
